Founded in 2005, The First name we choose was Church of Celestial Knowledge. however, the abbreviations would have been inappropiate. The next name we gave and went with was Fudamental Revivilist Ministries. We had a members count at about 47 people. We met in public parks, at the Downtown Newark, Ohio Courthouse Square. We also met and prepared and sereved 3 meals a day for 50 people in our homes. The homeless could take showers and wash clothes. In 2006 one of our founding members who wishes to remain unknown came up with a self-help program. It was called Self-Help And Recovery Program or S.H.A.R.P> fo short. This program focused on individual Help and Recovery Plan or IRP. We would help the individual identify three major issues that was impacting their lives negativily. Once this was established We would have the person determine three goals to overcome each of the three obstacles. These goals were self oriented in that the belief is a person needs the desire and willingness to make changes in their own life, for no other reasons that to be a better self. Since 2006 This ministry has had over 3,000 individuals whose lives changed 100% of the time for the better(however, not all were perfect). In 2007 the ministry faced a decrease in tithing members and the food ministry was limited to 3 public meals a week. The core members and administrators faced governmental interference, which led the lead ministers to form O.P.A.C.S.4-change (Ohio Parents against Child protective Services 4-change) This became a battle from 2007 until 2010. There were great changes in how Child Services across the nation9 And around the world) handles the permamnant removal of the children of physically and mentally ill parents and resparked in Ohio a change in political viewpoints on the scope and power of the agentcy. Also unknown to us then, there were changes made on the after care of children being released from the foster care system, at that time aged out meant dumped out. the original founders had broken off into their own personal ministries in Ohio, Michingan, Kentucky and Tennesee.Ohio transferred to ULC Norman Ministries which continued the street ministry, the SHARP and universal acceptance of all people and tolerance and co-worship of multiple faiths. Thogh the membership was only about 12 people. A Facebook Page was started and messages were posted and the church became E-based. Actions were still done on a volunteer basis and tihing trays were never passed around. Becuase of the role as DeFacto civil rights advocates for physically and mentally ill parents and quickly all persons in this bracket, the ministry could not apply for tax exemption. This made it unappealling for donations. So the ministry remained e-based, and offered rogue paralegal services to any ProSe mentally or physically ill persons and those who could not afford attorneys and did not qualify for a Legal Aid attorney.( This amazingly enough was kind of how NAACP started years ago.)
Then in 2020 during Covid a great thing happened four of the founding members reunited and renewed their collective goal to help the world be a better place. In 2021 ULC NorEvan Ministries was founded incorporating (Meesinic Christianity, Wicca- Christian, Druidic Paganism and Christian Science.) We have great hopes that our Multi-Faith ministry will grow, that others will join the cause of coexsistence and individually and collectively regardless of what we believe in each community where we have a minister/s will become a better place, sharing unconditional love and compassion for humanity So please Join us, even if you do not have money to give. Be Blessed. Merry Met, Merry Part until we Merry meet again.
